In Step is a meditation in walking as civic engagement. Informed by the practices of Rebecca Solnit (Wanderlust) and Ernesto Pujol (Walking Art Practice: Reflections on Socially Engaged Paths), this walk, choreographed with one gesture, transported in silence a group of twenty audience participants from the North Steel Bridge to The Multnomah County Central Library in Portland, OR.
